Project Discovery

Project Discovery is a program that exposes students to post-secondary education. It is done by providing workshops, college campus visits, and other cultural activities that encourage students to continue their education after high school. Workshops and college visits are held on Saturdays and are full of fun, food, and fellowship. Project Discovery serves all high schools in Smyth, Wythe, and Bland counties. In June those students who have successfully completed the program are invited to go on an overnight bonus trip to Busch Gardens or to an Atlanta Braves baseball game. If you are interested in being a part of Project Discovery you can pick up an application from your Guidance Counselor.
