"Read The Most From Coast To Coast"

Students at Bland Elementary will take part in a national reading challenge.

Students will be reading in the halls, reading in places that are small, preparing to take part in "Read The Most From Coast To Coast", on March 2, 2012, Dr. Seuss's Birthday.

"Read the Most From Coast to Coast" a national reading event set for March 2, challenges students to shatter the national one-day record for Accelerated Reader Quiz taking.

"Read The Most From Coast To Coast" enables students to take part in shared reading adventure, and at the same time show the world they understand what they've read. All students that take part in this nationwide challenge will be eligible to receive a Certificate of National Participation.

The one day record for Accelerated Reader Quiz-taking is well above 2 million quizzes.

"We're excited about the event, said Mrs. Tibbs. " We expect to see many happy faces when the national Accelerated Reader Quiz goal is shattered!"
